4 out of 5 stars Good older game for slower PCs   August 4, 2008
This is a good older game for your pre-dual core systems with good graphics and gameplay. The controls can be a little touchy at times and the control interface could be more "adjustable" but overall, it looks good and wont require a mega system to run it well.

4 out of 5 stars MotoGP 3 - URT   January 17, 2008
This is a good game if you are into motorcycles and realism. This game has come closest to what riding is for a video I have ever seen. This game is not like the arcade games you played when you were younger, you have to actually slow down for the turns and hit the gas at the apex. This game is a lot of fun and I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys a challenge.

5 out of 5 stars AWESOME GAME FOR NOT MUCH $$   December 18, 2006
I got this game at Fry's for 9.99 and it's great! At first I was lost with the controls until I finally got them setup just right, but note: You need to get a gamepad like the PS2's for your computer, you can get them for about $20, a must have for some PC games like this one. You can change views until you find the right one(the one that doesn't make the screen go to and fro like being on a boat!). The sense of speed is just marvelous and gives an appreciation for the skill of these riders, going 165+ on a bike is very dangerous, but rewarding. GET THIS GAME if you like racing games!

5 out of 5 stars fun, solid, balanced gameplay   March 6, 2006

i have recently played the demo, and i must say i was amazed.
The whole experience is great. The graphics are great. They focus on the bike and the environment and as you get to fast speeds, the whole landscape blurs.
i found the gameplay, which is the most important part of most games, to be solid. When you take care into executing the turns, you tend to do a lot better. But when you rush through them, you usually end up crashing into another rider, then flying off of your bike, or skiding off the course.
There is always a concern that the pc lacks the amount of control that consoles do because of the lack of controllers. This is easily solved. I purchased the Nyko AirFlow conroller at best buy for 20 bucks, and it works GREAT with the PC.There might be even better options as well.
There are two types of gameplay, that totally balance the game. There is the gand prix mode which offers more tight turns and more precise gameplay, while the three extreme classes offer a more arcade genre of gameplay with higher speeds and bigger turns. I found both of these options to be extremely fun.
AS far as content, there are plenty of motorcycle racers, and about 30 courses (15 for each grand prix and extreme.) There is the quick race option, career mode, time trial races, and internet and split screen multiplayer. The demo did not have career, or split screen, but i am excited to get the game for such a cheap price and enjoy this game even more. An excellent game experience.

2 out of 5 stars GAME IS SO SO AT BEST...   December 7, 2005
I was expecting so much more out of this game. I have superbike 2000 and 2001 and they are by far a much better game. they are more realistic and more fun to play. I assumed that during the past few years since SBK 2001 came out that the graphics and overall game play would be that much better, but to my surprise this game just seemed to be like an ok arcade version of motorcycle racing. oh well, it was worth a try.
