I like this memory card because it can store a lot of memory from different games like madden 07, madden 06, nba live 06, etc.
Nice invention.

"they gave me the wrong memory card!!! but one thing good about it is that if i got the memorycard that i ordered, then it wouldnt work good because my friend told me that whatever u save on the "NYKO 81529 Memory Card for GameCube (8 MB)" all the data is going to be lost!!! IT WILL BE LOST AS SOON AS U FINISH PLAYING THE GAME AND SHUT THE GAME POWER OFF!!! SO PEOPLE, BUY THE NINTENDO MEMORY CARD BRAND, BUY THE ONE THAT ARE MADE FROM NINTENDO COMPANYS AND U'LL SEE WHATS THE DIFFERINCE!!! (IT'LL BE ALOT OF DIFFERINCE BETWEEN THEM)"

3 out of 5 stars Cheaper, but not as good as the nintendo brand.   February 4, 2006

I've purchased memory cards from other companies than nintendo for my game cube, and dont get me wrong they work just fine. Well, most of the time... It's just that off brand memory cards are usually easier to corrupt. Meaning that you're more likely to lose the data that's been saved on your memory card if it's not the official nintendo brand of memory card.

I buy both nintendo brand and other brands of licensed GCN memory cards, but I buy more of the official nintendo brand because I have more confidence in the quality of the product.
Just yesterday, I found that the data on one of my memory cards had been corrupted! I had alot of data saved on that card from games that I had worked very hard on, and now it's all gone!
Now I have to play through all of the tough levels that I already played through if I want to get back to where I previously was in the game!

In short, All brands of memory cards work just fine in your GCN. But I would rather buy the nintendo brand, (they did make the Game cube afterall)

In the end it's all up to you what brand of memory card that you buy for your GCN, all I know is that none of my nintendo brand memory cards have ever become corrupted.
