5 out of 5 stars Much better than wires   November 12, 2008
If you are like me and like everything wireless for less clutter and problems with limited distance because of wires, then this is the headset for you. I have everything wireless with my 360, and this is one of my favorite. I use to have to be connected to the controller and carry it everywhere to talk but with this wireless headset I can keep in on and walk to the kitchen on a quick break to grab a drink and I don't have to miss a single word of the conversation. Not to mention the sound quality is much better then the wired headset, I was talking to a friend online one day and he said what did you do you sound much better then normal and I told him I just got that wireless headset. The next day I took in to his house for him to try and about 2 hrs of being there we left to go buy him one he loved it so much. It also has a very long battery life, I used it in an overnight tournament and after about 10hrs of playing it started to beep cause the battery was low, so it last a long time. And to charge it all you have to do is plug in the USB cord to the headset and the other end to the console and it begins charging and the cool part is the console can be off and it still charges. I am not quite sure but I believe it charges in about 4hrs so not to bad. So there you have it, this is one great product with great sound quality, long battery life, long talking range, and short charging time and a MUST BUY!

1 out of 5 stars Broke in just over a month   October 13, 2008
Dont buy this. I got mine at Target, and it broke in barely over a month. Used it one night, charged it overnight, woke up, the thing wont turn on and wont charge. Microsoft wouldn't replace it without a receipt. I am hoping I can take it back to Target.

I am an adult, its not like I am a kid who stepped on it and threw it around. Google "wireless 360 headset broke" and you'll see there are plenty of people who had this happen to them. Stick with the $20 wired one, it definitely works just as well, and although its a cheap piece too, it will only cost you $20 to replace and will last longer than 6 weeks.

1 out of 5 stars For how long it works, it is not worth it!   April 23, 2008

At first I loved this headset. It was very simple, looked good, it was compact, wireless, and its volume was great.

After using it, there were some glitches that I found. When the battery is running low, the headset would make a loud static sound. And sometimes it would make your voice sound as if it was underwater. This seemed to only happen when the headset was low on batteries. The plus side is that a majority of the time it did work well.

Now the HUGE complaint I do have on these headsets is the lifespan of it. These headsets only come with a 90-day warranty. After 4 months of use, mine would no longer hold a charge, sort of like the battery went bad. The down side is that you cannot purchase a battery to fix this problem. You will have to buy a whole new headset.

I contacted xbox warranty for this issue and they told me there is nothing that can be done and that I new one has to be purchased. They cannot even fix the existing one that just needs a simple battery replacement. And they will not sell the battery by itself.

So after hearing the news about this, I did a search on the internet. It seems as if this battery problem is not just with me, but with several other 100 customers that purchased this cheap headset. The battery lifespan seems to only last a few months This headset cost around $60.00 and it only lasted 4-5 months, it is not a wise investment.

2 out of 5 stars An Unnecessary (and annoying) Luxury   March 21, 2008
At first I thought it would be novel to play online without the hassle of wires, so I spent over $50 on this. It turned out to be more annoying than it was worth.

It is heavy to support on your ear.
It is annoying to recharge.
It is difficult for your 360 to "locate"

Trust me, save the money and just use a headset like everyone else.

2 out of 5 stars Workes good but breaks after a week   February 20, 2008
Xbox 360 Wireless Headset I bought this headset as a gift to my self for x mas and it worked great. However after about two weeks of good use it broke. It would not charge when i put it in the console or a computer and when i called microsoft to see if i could get a repair and they said that it would cost 29.99 so i just returned it to amazon insted. So this headset is verry cheap but sounds good
