Amazon.com Product Description Buzz Lightyear of Star Command features the Space Ranger star himself in a battle against Emperor Zurg. Drawing from the cartoon show that was, itself, based on the movie Toy Story, the game finds Buzz exploring seven worlds containing 14 levels while interacting with real-time 3-D characters. Explore Jo-Ad, Trade World, Karn, and Gargantua with jetpacks, hover boards, and jet bikes. Defeat Torque, XL, and Warp Darkmatter with laser guns, lightning guns, and plasma bolts. It all leads up to a final confrontation with Emperor Zurg on Planet Z.

saturday morning buzz April 2, 2002 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this game for my nephew to play, but it turned out to be a little more chalenging than i thought. He had some trouble navigating buzz in the right direction and shoot at tragets at the same time. If you stay too long in one place more robots come back to attack you even after destroying them. Also, the time limit makes it hard for a slow player to finish each level. Throughout the game, graphics or film clips from the saturday morning program are shown. The presentation is almost seamless- almost, since you can tell some clips don't fit a certain game scene exactly. Don't be confused with the Toy story 2 game. This game has no connection to the the movie with Woody and other toys. As an action game, it is not bad, ( all the worlds are 3D, eventhough the film clips are 2D). Although this game claims to have 7 worlds, it actually goes back to three previous worlds (a harder level the second time I assume). this game would be good for someone over six who loves the tv series.
Best than Disney Movies November 2, 2000 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
If you want a Buzz Lightyear for you, now you can have it with this incredible game. The graphics are cool and so is the gameplay. You can interact with all the caracter of the movie (like Mr. Potato Head). This game is cool and its very charged of fun. Go and get it.
