I love this mouse November 11, 2008 This is one of the best mouse i have ever used. Very smooth you dont even need a mouse pad on a normal surface, but if you are going to use it on glass you'll need a mouse pad.
Great Mouse November 10, 2008 I am a PhD student and need to do a lot of clicking on hundreds of images every day. That is why I would like to buy a gaming mouse because they provide better accuracy. This mouse suits my need and you can locate the pointer at exact position you want. Another good thing is that you can customize all the buttons on this mouse to provide you shortcuts for many things.
Great mouse for gaming or just regular use November 9, 2008 If you think about it, the mouse and the keyboard are the two things you use the most when you're at your computer. You shouldn't just settle for the cheapo basic optical mouse. Get something that feels good, works well, and is accurate.
I've been using the MX510/518 for years and I love this mouse. I initially bought it for gaming and it's an excellent gaming mouse. After I got used to having it I couldn't got back to anything less. Even for regular computer use. I highly recommend this mouse.
Just a plain good mouse November 9, 2008 Great gaming mouse. Not too fancy. Gets the job done without having to spend too much time with setup. Simple software. Perfect for Call of Duty 4.
Excellent Linux support, but one unrelated quirk. November 3, 2008 For the most part this is a great mouse. The only issue I've had is that when running Windows XP the mouse wheel tends to have some backlash now and then. By that I mean when scrolling down using the wheel, the window will occasionally scroll back up by a mouse wheel increment. It appears to be a software thing since I have not had the problem when running Linux ( Gnome/Fedora 8 ).
The Linux support is fantastic by the way - plugged it in without having to install any additional software and the +/- buttons change the sampling speed without any issue.
