great game for small children May 19, 2006 Ryan Collier (florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this game and the gameboy 99 in one cartridge for my small child and they are great. The games are easy enough to play without them feeling like they are "babies"...they give enough of a challenger...I would purchase it again.
Great for a new gamer June 28, 2005 LT and DT's mom (Savannah, GA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My daughter received this for her 7th birthday as well as Barbie, and Kim Possible. These were her first games/game boy experiences. She tried Barbie 1x and hated it, she plays Kim Possible sometimes but gets frustrated. This Dora game she adores and plays every day even though she has mastered it. Her little brother is also learning with this game and loves it too. He has requested his own GBA because of how much he likes the Dora game. It's not too hard for the little ones or new gamers but still keeps things interesting. I highly recommend this game to any young gamer.

*MUCH* Better Than I Expected!! January 11, 2005 JemPast (Georgia, USA) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This game was one I was dying to try. I like Dora The Explorer & I am 22 yrs old. My little 3 year old cousin is the one who got me to like it. I would watch it with her. My cousin has this game & I only have 3-4 more levels and I will have the game beaten. I still want to buy it though. Although, I can play with her's until I do. There was one part with the snake that I was stuck on for about five minutes. You, think oh this is a kid's game & it will be super easy. Wrong...think again. Some worlds have bats & snakes that are hard to get around. Overall, I would give this GBA game 5 star's.
Excellent buy! January 5, 2005 E. Braham (ct United States) 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
We got this game for my 5 year old daughter. She hasn't put it down since Christmas. She loves the game. I think it is challenging enough for her with the jumping and so forth. The only downfall, because it is geared for younger children, is that the story should be spoken out loud instead of the words being there and if they don't know how to read, they don't know what they are saying. Other than that, my daughter loves it so it was a good buy!
