3 out of 5 stars camera case works better   August 29, 2007
Purchased this item but I don't use it. The holes sloted for the buttons are not very fited. It works great just to hang around your neck if you plan on pulling it out to play if you were killing time somewhere.
I bought the Wenger brand camera case that works jsut fine. The case fits as if it was made for it.

1 out of 5 stars near-garbage, but at least the price is right...   April 16, 2007
just swap your faceplates to keep your unit shiny. this is a hideously cheesy product; you can't play the device with any accuracy when it's in the sleeve. Paid $2 and at $2.50 it would have been a ripoff.

3 out of 5 stars Sleeve is great protection, but awkward to play through   March 26, 2007

I actually use this sleeve for my Micro a lot, since I virtually bring my Micro with me everywhere, and I like the belt clip on the sleeve. I clip it onto my belt loop or backpack and I don't have to worry about my Micro getting banged around because the sleeve is cushiony and protects it well from bumps and scrapes. The little baggy that comes with the Micro was ok, but it didn't help to protect it very well if it banged around, and this sleeve thing is a great replacement for the baggy. However, even though you're supposed to be able to play the Micro with the sleeve ON, it's very awkward and difficult, especially trying to push the A & B and especially the shoulder buttons. On top of that, the speaker, on/off switch and other slots are covered by the sleeve, making it so you have to take the Micro out to turn it on and off or turn the volume up. I usually end up just using the sleeve as a sort of holster, and take the Micro out of it completely to play. There are no straps or anything so it's not hard to slip in and out of it.

For the price, I can't complain much...it is a good protective holster, and usually to protect the screen when I'm not playing it, I put the micro in backwards so the screen's not showing. The micro stays snugly in the sleeve and never flies out, and I really like that I can clip it on anything. You CAN play the micro with the sleeve on; it's not impossible, but it's uncomfortable and you forfeit the kind of control you might really need for certain games. But like I said, how can you complain when it's so cheap?

I like this product and needed this product, my kids is alway dropping his gameboy micro and this is a good cushion for those nasty falls.

Thanx.

I love my micro sleeve! It actually works great despite what the other reviewer says. I like the material. The caribiner is cool too.
