Warning: "Lens" is a sticker & will damage your screen! September 20, 2005 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
A total crock, don't throw your money away. Since I'm paranoid about scratches or dust getting under the screen of my gba I thought screen protectors were a brilliant idea. Stupidly I imagined it would be some sort of plastic face plate that would clamp on somehow. When I realized it was nothing but a clear sticker I knew I'd been scammed, but I was still hoping to find some value in it. Idiotically I attached it to the screen. In the process the sticker took a scratch and that, combined with the dust on the sticker, made my screen look like exactly what I was trying to protect it from. I then became frantic trying to get it back off without hurting the actual screen. The back of the box, hysterically, actually recommends using a sharp utensil. Thankfully I had a friend with me who thought of using some strong adhesive tape to get the sticker off without harming the screen. If you end up in this situation, attach the tape to the sticker and then peel back. Good luck. Buyer beware.
You have been warned - Damages Screen April 21, 2005 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
Let me start of by saying, these things glue directly to your GBA screen. If that doesn't send up a warning flag right away, it should. Once attached, they are nearly impossible to remove, and leave behind a sticky residue that basically ruins the screen quality. There's pretty much nothing positive that can be said about these things.
it's not so BAD January 2, 2005 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
this screen protectors aren't so bad , but why after putting it on your screen , you would want to take it off?? i mean that's insane , tha only bad thing about this it collects a bit of dust on your screen , and you can't really see what you're playing in day , but at night it's good ,i have had mine for almost a year now and it hasn't come off,but people don't throw away your sp , rub it with alcahol , and the goo will come off.
Don't throw away your SP! Remove residue by... November 9, 2004 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
using plain alcohol on a q-tip. It will take a few (or even several) attempts but the nasty goo will dissolve and your SP will be fine. I bought these awful, awful screen covers for my son's SP and it is as good as new after a little alcohol. Don't pour the alcohol on...use the q-tip.
Hope this helps someone.
No good August 28, 2004 14 out of 17 found this review helpful
I got this item so that my screen would not get scratched at all. Instead when I stuck this on my SP it started to slide around. So I took it off to find that my whole screen was covered in a glue like substance. Now I have to go buy a new SP. Avoid this at ALL costs.
