Reviewing the XBox August 14, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The XBox has proven to be everything I hoped it would be. I bought it for my 13-year-old grandson as a surprise. He absolutely loved it!!! I have never seen him love a gift so much. He played it and played it. He never wanted to go home. Now, he wants to take it home with him. I am contemplating letting him take the XBox home but then I won't have it here with me.
Can't go wrong... August 14, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Even with all of the system failures since launch. The Xbox 360 is the best console for the money. The addition of HDMI and 120GB hard drive is just icing on the cake. I have had a couple older models brake on me, but that is just the risk you run as an early adopter of high end electronics. Customer service has been great and I have spent no money out of pocket on repairs. The Elite is a great purchase for any gamer that takes it seriously. Microsoft continues to have the best game selection and with Xbox Live they have the most complete online presence. For the record I own the other consoles as well.
Third time's the charm... August 10, 2008 The Xbox 360 Elite was the second unit I purchased and despite a service return to Microsoft, I did receive a new unit and had no problems at the time of this review. The 120 GB hard drive and 30 feet wireless control use are plenty... the InterCooler unit was extra but I was encouraged to buy one. Every 360 game I purchased I was able to play and many of the original Xbox titles play well (Halo and Halo 2 are wonderful). I give 2 thumbs up for the `Elite.
