The perfect controller for gamer girls August 22, 2008 The most important thing about this controller is its color, pink. There are other colors available, but if you have a girl gamer in the house (I have two, my daughter and wife), then this will certainly make them happy. My daughter is thrilled to have her own controller, and she's especially happy about the color. Color-coded controllers also have an additional plus -- if both players pause a game and leave the room, each player knows exactly which controller is "his" or "hers" when they return.
Out of the box, the controller is easy to setup. The multi-language instruction sheet lists the simple steps you need to take to synchronize the controller with the console, so if you've never had to do this, it should not be that difficult. Microsoft includes 2 AA batteries with this, so you are ready to go as soon as you cut the controller out of the packaging.
The A, B, X, and Y buttons seemed a little more stiff than the original controller I have, but only time will tell if that's because it is new or because Microsoft has made a design change to the hardware. Otherwise, it's a quality product that works right out of the package exactly as expected, with no surprises.
CUTE PINK CONTROLLER! July 4, 2008 THESE WIRELESS CONTROLLERS ARE A LITTLE PRICEY BUT WELL WORTH IT. 10 BUCKS CHEAPER HERE ON AMAZON THAN AT BEST BUY.I LOVE THE GIRLIE PINK.
What more can be said June 3, 2008 The XBOX 360 wireless controller, what more needs to be said? If this were a car it would be considered the ultimate driving machine.
Design based on the s controller from the previous system and improved upon. ergonomically superior and functions flawlessly.
They are a bit pricey but they are new, prices wil drop they always do.
I love it! April 28, 2008 I read a review on another site that asked why they should even make a pink controller, and I think that's pretty obvious. There are more people who play video games nowdays than just guys, and we want to be represented too! I bought this controller #1 because we needed more controllers than the two that came with the 360, #2 because I wanted something that was exclusive to me when we have people over for gaming (usually guys) that no one but me would use, and #3 because it's cute and with my decalgirls sticker on it expresses my style to anyone who sees it. I gotta say this controller is way better looking in real life than it looks in the picture. It was almost a shame to cover up so much of it with my decal but I had ordered the sticker especially for it and together it looks great too. It's a little lighter pink than the pictures show and not so glaringly cotton candy. I really like it and it does keep those dirty guy fingers off of my play space. :) I highly recommend it for all those girly girl albeit hardcore gamers out there.
I got the blue(s) controller! April 20, 2008 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
If you've got an Xbox 360, you need controllers. This blue one is a nice shade of blue, and goes well with either the pro white console scheme, or the elite black one. It makes an excellent gift.
The layout of the buttons on the Xbox 360 is amazing. It's perfect for many of the games that are on the 360. The rumble is effective, and the wireless capacity is wonderful.
The only beef I have, is that I've had two controllers that become loose on the left analog stick, and they began to drag the cursor when not touched. The Xbox Warranty I had from the console replaced them free of charge. Luckily I had extra controllers to get me by in the week it took to replace it.
When matched with the rechargable battery pack, they give you lots of gaming time between charges.
