Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The Guitar Hero 2 Controller feels just like a real guitar, making it the ultimate way to jam on your Xbox 360. Players press the fret buttons in sync with scrolling "notes" on screen that indicate the rhythm of the song. Players activate these "notes" by flicking the strum bar on the Guitar Hero 2 Controller. With a second Controller, Guitar Hero turns into the ultimate party game!! The dual guitar action on songs like Iron Man and More Than a Feeling will have the crowd going nuts. Stylized Start and Select buttons that look like volume knobs off an actual guitar

5 out of 5 stars guitar hero x-plorer guitar   November 24, 2008
i like this guitar much more than the wireless les paul. the buttons actually feel like your pressing them. the first one i had of this the strum stopped working and so did the up and down on the d pad. i got a second one and its still working so hopefully the same thing doesn't happen

4 out of 5 stars better than wireless options   November 16, 2008
This product is much more reliable than comparable wireless guitars. Have owned several wireless and I keep coming back to wired for reliability

1 out of 5 stars 2 controllers, 2 problems, less than a week of use   November 13, 2008
Just bought two of these controllers of Amazon, great price and advertised as new. Opened only one to replace the wireless guitar I got with World Tour. Today the blue fret key became stuck and I could not fix it, so the guitar is now useless. So I got out the second controller which I had not used yet, and it will not work at all. The Xbox won't recognize it, and I've tried everything.

If you're looking for a cheap guitar, you found it.

5 out of 5 stars Flawless guitar   September 16, 2008
This guitar is one of the best guitars I have played on and I own the wireless "Les Paul" guitar too,but I don't like it as much as this one. This guitar is awesome because the buttons are easy to press and easy to do guitar solos too.I use this guitar on Guitar Hero II,III,and Rock Band,it's nice and responsive even on hard mode. The guitar does come with a cord, but its nice sometimes when you don't have to recharge batteries all the time,I already have to do that with my other two controllers.I prefer GH guitars over RB guitars because the strum on the RB guitars has a mushy strum bar and it's hard to use.

I had it for a year now and I don't have any problems with it.I recommend this guitar for GH/RB games and is easier to play songs on hard than the "Les Paul" and RB guitars.

Pros: responsive strum bar and buttons, guitar is lightweight, easy to hold in hand, durable constrution

Cons: clicky strum bar and has a cord(not wireless)
