I bought this for my wife as a gift. I read all the reviews and decided that this is the one. She wanted an alarm clock that could also play her I-pod. She absolutely loves this iHome. She set it up fairly easy and uses it alot. I would recommend this item and gave it five stars.

I just purchased my iHome IH9 and I adore it.
It's easy to set up, and the instructions are clear and concise.
I have a small apartment and the speakers are wonderful with exceptionally clear sound. I absolutely LOVE the remote, too.
As others have mentioned, the FM reception on this isn't as great as typical radio alarm clocks, but I certainly don't miss it. I love that I can fall asleep to my music and wake up to it too. The buzzer on the alarm is really annoying, so I created a playlist immediately after the first morning.
I spent a lot of time doing research and I know there are a lot of products out there, SO:
If you're looking for a good docking system that will charge your ipod, produce good sound, and want to wake up to your playlist, here is the answer!

I purchased this item for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. It does everything she wanted and more. She likes the way she can program it to play random songs and use it for an alarm clock. The radio portion works really well also. It looks really nice and it doesn't take up a lot of room on table next to her bed.

I wanted to love this product. But after one year, when my warranty ended it started to fuzz. That's right, when you play it, it creates a static filled buzz that doesn't allow you to listen to it. I am most mad, because I paid the extra money for the warranty with BestBuy, only to have it crash a month later. The speakers fuzz out after time, I'm not a loud listening music type person, mostly classical, and this product dismantled itself. Fuzz. I now after one year, have a product, I can't return, nor can sell. Stay away. Cheap, but not worth it.

I'm impressed with the iHome. I had heard it before when my former roomie had one and decided I wanted one for Christmas. It has lived up to my expectation and exceeded it. The unit and remote are of good quality materials, the sound quality is impressive for such a small and affordable item, and the alarm features are neat. I like the option to have a M-F alarm and a weekend alarm setting. The adjustable brightness for the display is great too, and easy to adjust. I really like how the beeping alarm function starts out slow and progresses, so you don't have to be assaulted first thing unless you need it! Which often I do. ;) I have it across the room, as I always do with alarm clocks, so I have to be careful to keep the remote in a drawer by my bed so it's still difficult to hit sleep (which you can do from the remote!). Great value!
