Could not get to work with Windows XP October 3, 2008 This headset did work with my vista system but I could not get it to work with my XP system. I would get the message driver not found. Logitech support was no help at all (they directed me to Windows support).
sound is awesome, comfortable September 30, 2008 the sound quality is much better then my last headset and the noise canceling is one of the best i've seen. the only improvement i could see is how firm the padding is on them, however this is really only noticed after 3-4+ hours of having them on while gaming.
It's Ok but not for the price September 29, 2008 I purchased this headset to try out speech recognition software. It's comfortable and plugs into the USB port which I found very convenient. The problem is, the mouth piece doesn't go out far enough to adequately catch sound and the attached mic doesn't really help much. Thankfully, when I purchased my speech recognition software, it came with its own headset which looks cheaper than this one, but works 10x better. This headset was not worth the money.
Excellent product, worked seamlessly with my windows vista and skype September 28, 2008 I brought this headphone for recording and skype conversation. It worked great with my windows vista 64 bits and also with Skype. The voice quality is great. If you wear the headset for a longer time, it does starting after a while.
Previous Logitechs are better September 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received these about 6 days ago, and from the first moment I put them on, I knew the older Logitech USB 350 Premium were better. Although I've had no option that adapting to the sound of these (as my old ones stopped working after 2 years of severe usage, and that's because I started traveling with them), the bass quality is noticeably lower. On top of that, the overall volume that these can achieve is incredibly lower than the old 350s. Previously, I wouldn't have ever thought of listening to music with the volume set at 100% (unless I wanted to self-inflict some damage), but with these I listen to Metallica's Death Magnetic at the loudest volume possible, and still be left hungry for more, which is ridiculous, specially when listening to a pretty heavy album like that.
Physically, I'm actually scared I might break these virtually every time I use them. I usually like when companies make lighter products, but the plastic material of these feels way too fragile. I can't say for sure they'll break as I've only had them for a few days, but because of the numerous reviews on how the USB component is weakly manufactured, I plugged these in an USB extension cable the first time I opened the box and I haven't nor I intend to unplug them from it, out of fear they might break in too. I'm actually set on buying the old 350s again the second these break. They just feel "breakish". I hope I'm wrong on this.
I have a big head. By expanding these feels I feel like I'm going to break them every time. 350s are pretty robust and never too heavy on the user. It's pretty serious.
Overall, I should've done like my friend who ordered a second pair of his 350s instead of upgrading like I did. The others are cheaper and way better. It's still a good product and everyone falls in love with them, but for someone who's used the previous USB headset iteration by Logitech will not be impressed.
