 The best DS accessory ever made! August 11, 2008
The guy who gave that 1 star review is full of it. Both the R4 and M3DS are one of the best slot 1 adapters ever made. Plays homebrews, mp3 music, mp4 videos, and game backups with ease. I've had this card for over a year and have played tons of games on it. Although it is illegal to download the games, this card can store over 60 NDS game backups using a 2GB microSD card. This unit is not compatible with microsdhc cards so the maximum memory is 2GB. These were recently replaced with the M3DS REAL to adapt to the new sdhc format. The last backup game I have played on it was Zelda: Phantam Hourglass so I'm sure it needs a new firmware update by now. But that's no problem because I can just go to [...] where I can download all the (reliable) files I need to keep the M3DS Simply updated. You got to be crazy not to own one if you have a DS.

My friends and I were amazed with the functions and features of this product. It has taken my DS to antoher Level where we have never imagine. I can also play music on it like my PSP and iPod, all my attention is now on the DS with the R4 Revolution Card.
My friends and I are hardcore Gamers and have been using this for a while, playing non-stop for hours each time and have had absolutely no problems, the fun just keeps getting better!!
I'm not sure why one review would say that it will have malware because R4 will be very foolish to do this since it does not benefit them at all, perhaps a hater or someone who is not familiar with electronics and listening to rumors.
Strongly recommend this to anyone who owns a DS!! You'd be foolish to not own one of these :)

While this item works right now there is a major problem with it.
Apparently, the R4 team who created this product also created a malware in their downloads that is designed to destroy your DS if it sees something it doesn't like. It is supposed to be released on September 15th and the R4 creators have declared that: "They are not responsible for any damage incurred..."
So, I would be careful of all R4 products. In fact, even though I've only owned my R4 for six months and was ready to rave about it, I'm already pricing an M3 Simply and am chucking this risky piece of potential nastiness.
