Amazon.com Product Description
The Panasonic KX-TG8232B DECT 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Phone System with Two Handsets uses the latest DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology for outstanding range and clarity. It operates on the 1.9 GHz frequency for less interference from household items such as wireless networks, keyboards, and microwaves, and is less susceptible to eavesdropping. Two handsets are included and up to four additional handsets can be used with the base unit without any need for wires or setup.

An all-digital answering system is built into the base and features flash memory that holds 16 minutes of recording time. The phonebook can hold 50 entries and the Caller ID can be linked to the phonebook so that a certain color gets flashed depending on who is calling. Call-waiting Caller ID shows you the name and number of an incoming call even while you are already on a call. Digital duplex speakerphones are built into the back of both handsets for clear hands-free conversations.

1 out of 5 stars poor product   January 6, 2009

very bad product. not even one month old. one in for repair and the other two are in route to be repaired. Each time i had to pay shipping charges to send them back.which brings the cost of the phones up.i would have been better off going to walmart, at least i could have taken them back.
When i called Panasonic customer service, there reps were very cold and rude.Never will i buy another Panasonic product or anything electronic from on-line stores.

4 out of 5 stars works great   January 6, 2009

this phone seems to work great so far. voice quality and range has not been a problem. the only thing I dont like is that when you hit redial, it doesnt automatically dial the call. you have to hit talk to get the dial tone before redial will dial out. it would also be nice if there was a small light on the bases, it makes it slightly difficult to put the phone on the base to charge it if the room is dark. otherwise the phone works great with my Time Warner Cable VOIP service. all features function as they should (caller ID, Call waiting, 3 way, VM indicator, etc).

5 out of 5 stars Best phone I have had!   December 28, 2008

I think this phone is the best investment I made this year. I mostly speak to people on the speaker phone. In fact, I talk to my trading friend almost 5 hours a day on the speaker. Even after speaking 5 hours, I still get the full number of bars on the battery. Speaker is loud and clear. My previous phone that was also Panasonic, but bought perhaps 6 years ago did not have good speakers. However, this phone is fantastic! I strongly recommend anyone looking for a great phone with great price.

the not so good: the dial tone stutters when calling out. no big deal, just a little annoying. the #'s on the phone could be bigger or spaced further apart as i often hit 2 of them when calling out.

the good: everything else. overall this phone is a good buy for the $.

1 out of 5 stars What a Piece of Dung   December 13, 2008

I hate this phone! When you answer the phone, the machine will kick on anyway -- and stays on through the entire call. Messages? It can't tell when a caller has hung up. So it's always a 3 minute message, including canned telephone company message "please hang up" and "beep! beep! beep!" with every message. And it's not intermittent. It's every call.

This phone if going to Goodwill right after Christmas. . .if I can wait that long.
