Namco Bandai releases debut PC title

Namco Bandai, you remember them, don't you?, announced last week that they're fantasy RPG for the PC had been released and would be appearing on shelves yesterday. This is Namco Bandai's headlong lunge into the PC gaming world so let's give them all a fair chance, okay? The game, for those of you who weren't aware of this(like myself), Mage Knight: Apocalypse is based off the minature figurine game from WizKids Games. You can play as one of five characters, who are naturally sworn to destroy the baddies, You won't be alone, though..you'll have the Solonavi to help you. On the other side there will be an army trying to bring about the Apocalypse and with their pet five headed dragon. Sounds fun, right? You know it does. The game will also have several promotions attached to it from sites like IGN, RPG Gamer and RPG Dreamer. Those who read PC Gamer will have an opportunity to a limited edition figurine from the November 06 issue. The game itself will be bundled with a promotion code where the purchaser can order a minature based off the characters in the game that can be used for the tabletop game. So, with all that, and the technical goodies that Namco Bandai has promised in game this sounds like it will be very exciting. For more information there is the game's official site at http://www.mkapocalypse.com and, as always, right here at MyGamer.com.
