EA is pushing music as a strong selling point for their next college sports game, [i]MVP 06 NCAA Baseball[/i]. A deal with the Indie-Rock label Victory Records is designed to pump up the intensity and authenticity of the college sports attitude. Some of the bands are even debuting tracks through the game before their album?s release.
[i]MVP 06 NCAA Baseball[/i] will feature 10 tracks from the label?s leading artists:

-Devotion and Desite ? by Bayside
-This Is Who We Are ? by Hawthorne Heights
-Smile In Your Sleep ? by Silverstein
-These Lights ? by The Forcast
-Approach The Bench ? by The Audition
-Organs ? by The Black Maria
-Get Comfortable ? by The Junior Varsity
-Repeater ? by Waterdown
“Anyone on campus will tell you that Victory Records is the coolest brand in rock. Pairing them up with EA SPORTS was a perfect fit,” said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Music Marketing at EA. “Each one of these songs intensifies the thrill of victory … or the agony of defeat.”
[i]MVP 06 NCAA Baseball[/i] is slated for a spring 2006 release.
