Gamestop’s GC Clearance Sale

Fire Sale –

Several months ago I blogged about finding cheap GBA games that I got during Gamestop’s clearance sale.  Now, Gamestop is selling off all their remaining GC stock with a massive 75% off fire sale. I am not exactly sure when this started or when it will end so if you are interested you should check your local stores now – today is Thursday Feb. 21, 2013.

GC games were already marked down to low prices with even lower prices for Power-Up Rewards members. In an effort to remove their stock, all GC games are now 75% off.  Do people really care about this?  No, probably not especially now that Wii’s are no longer backwards compatible with GC games. But me, I am a sucker for buying games, even if they are super crappy, just because their cheap. It sucks that the case and instructions were not included, but what you gonna do…

Here is a list of some of the horribly bad crappy games I bought along with their prices:

Madden 2005 – $0.45

Madden 2003 – $0.23

Auto Modellista – $0.67

Backyard Baseball – $1.35

Backyard Football – $1.13 (which got mistakenly rung up as Nicktoons Unite)

Summoner: A Goddess Reborn – $1.13

Sum of All Fears – $0.67

Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix – $2.93

Rampage: Total Destruction – $1.35

Pac-Man Fever – $1.80

Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble – $1.13

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy – $0.67

Tak 2: Staff of Dreams – $0.67

Carmen Sandiego – $1.13

PK: Out of Shadows – $0.67

Extreme G3 – $0.67

NFL Quarterback Club 2002 – $0.23

Evolution Worlds – $0.90

Robotech: Battlecry – $.67

Wave Race: Blue Storm – $0.90

Proof that I bought cheap games

Proof that I bought cheap games

For under $20, I was able to buy these 20 games.

20 discs for $20

20 discs for $20

Is Madden ’03 worth a quarter?  Eh, that is debatable.  But one day when I am old and gray, I can pop in these old games and realize how far gaming technology has come.  But back in the day, these games were the s***!  Well, maybe not Quarterback Club, or the majority of the games listed above, but you understand my point…

This game was an ex-rental. You never know what you are going to get buying used.
