$500 in upgrades...
Planning to work with Video a lot more in the future so I had to step up. This was the first time I repleced a processor and motherboard on my own before... More to come but I researched for awhile to come up with: A P4 3.0ghz w/1mb cache and 800mhz FSB...an MSI Motherboard 800mhz FSB to go with it.... 1gb of PC 3200 400mhz RAM (and more to come), plus a 250gb 7200rpm 8mb cache Hard Drive. The big debate is going to be the Video Card.
