The Darkness

Anyone else play through this game yet? It was a decent effort by Starbreeze, but fell a little short. The game play was a little slow for my taste, and the game was surprisingly short. I guess i just expected more from the company that gave us Escape from Butcher Bay(XBOX).

I just started playing it, and I'll agree with you up to a point. While it isn't quite on par with Riddick I still like it a lot. The pacing is slow, but I like that there seems to be a real story behind the game. I think it has a lot to offer, but like I said I just started so I'll have to see if it lives up to its potential.

Lemme just say I'll be marking my return to this site as a staff member with a review for this game as soon as I get ahold of Stan, but for now I'll tell you I gave the game an 8.5.

I agree with you i would give the Darkness a 8.5 also. The game is wonderfully creative, but it lacks in variety.
