It all depends on how well Hollywood beefs up the book into an interesting movie. The game is based on the movie which is based on the book.
From a business point of view it was ripe mutimedia remakes, games included. I read that the book sell 2 million copies every month. This property has an insanely large fan base.
Whether or not it will translate to a good game... We'll just have to wait until May.
