Last Friday, a friend and I were heading out to see Underworld: Evolution. We were each sporting our "Not Basil" and "Not Stefan" top hats.

Any-hew, he wanted to stop in at ToysRUs and look at the new Norse myth Lego sets. We are nerds.

We went to the video game section and they had a demo of SMS. We played for 15 seconds. And that may be too generous.

He decided to buy the game instantly. We got back to his place and played for the rest of the night.

I have never had that much fun playing a video game with another person in my entire life.

Yeah, SMS is an awesome multiplayer game. The single player sucks, but the multiplayer is top-notch. I believe I said that and more in our review...

It literally had us bouncing up and down on the couch -- a couple of grown adults, 23 and 22, BOUNCING ON A FREAKIN' COUCH.

That's a good game.

I was bummed that single player was not all that good. I wanted the game but i hate buying multiplayers and not having a guarantee that asomeone will play with me.

Which is why I probably won't end up buying it for myself. It's a fun game to play when I visit my friend, but I don't have anyone else to play it with.

i have no friends so i dont buy multiplayer games on consoles. i am on dialup so i dont buy multiplayer games on the computer. i bought a multiplayer game for the nintendo DS and when i want to play it, i have to go to mcdonald's. will someone just shoot me?
