I've never played a Sly game, but I thought this one was supposed to be pretty good. Looks like it may be slipping a little.
First off, please don't fire me. I'll cry like a sissy baby. Not really, I'll just crawl into a bottle and sulk. :beer:

As for Sly 3, I'm not sure you could say how much it has lost its edge. It was still a fun platformer, but I think not nessarily up to par with whats been coming out these days. The 3D glasses thing was ridiculous, and incredibly uncomfortable. But its optional, and the game plays nice (if not better) without it.
Technically Sly 3 had some serious rough spots, but to be honest I it was still kinda fun. Easily rentable material.
Again, I hate to sulk and crawling into a bottle is hard (I am 6'3").
