There was just a thread about a PS3 price drop, but do you think Sony will now drop the price of the PS2? Maybe to the $99 price point? $79 price point? What do you think....

It hasn't dropped in a long time, and it's still the best selling console out there, so why would they want to drop the price? Possible, but hey, it's Sony.
And I know several people whose PS2s are falling apart on them, and it doesn't look like they'll afford a PS3 by the time the machine becomes unusable. So it's entirely possible that people are still buying PS2s just to replace broken ones.
