So at lunch today I decide to "quickly" run over to gamestop and pick up the Sims 2. While I'm at it, I'll pick up a few things at Wal-Mart since basically this town is shutting down around 6pm today.
So first off, traffic is horrendous! But being a local I go a back way. Not much problem getting there. Then to my horror Gamestop is CLOSED! They've boarded up their storefront with plywood and have closed down.
So I was totally bummed by that. I didn't preorder the sims because I would assume I would be able to go today and get it from Gamestop or Electronics Boutique(it's on the other side of town, with traffic the way it is it'd take way too long...and that's assuming the mall is open which they may not be). So lesson learned, never assume anything.
Wal-Mart wasn't too bad though...it was actually better than it was last night.
So maybe friday I'll be able to get it. This totally sucks.
