I found out a little more about it....Mostly pure speculation....But with a little more research, it looks like Microsoft could be trying to give Ipod a run for their money....I predict if the idea goes through, it will be yet another way for Microsoft to get a really big head start on total home entertainment domination...but that's just my opinion on it....something tells me, for that to happen at my house, i'd have to upgrade my computer once again...GRRRRRRRR

So cool. My prayers have been answered. I just hope that the computer aspect is good enough to warrant leaving the laptop at home, which I doubt but you never know.

That's what i was thinking as well, i really think that it has alot to do with the whole Windows Media Center and Windows Vista thing......IMO...i can't say i don't like the networking capabilities of the Media Center Extender on the 360.....I think it rocks!!.....But we'll definitely have to keep an eye out on this thing

One site says that more details will be released on March 2. Guess we'll find out then. I liked the pic of the dude driving with mapquest sitting next to him. That would definitely be me. Now they need to have one with a dozen people sitting around with mygamer on the screen!

"it looks like Microsoft could be trying to give Ipod a run for their money"-asylum boy
i wouldn't worry about ipod. there strickly about music. ide be looking at nintedo or playstation for there portable devices.
if you look at nintendo, the amazment of how quick two portable systems came out, from the DS to that micro thing, nintendo is usually on top of there portable systems. but i dont think playstation or nintendo have a plane for a new system in the portable catagory planes yet, if all follows well, from what i saw, its not just a video game system, its like a PDA.
If this xbox in a pocket comes out i think that nintendo will have to step it up a notch,

I think that the only person who could have a problem with this is Sony. The DS has enough unique content to get by. The PSP doesn't. The PSP has mainly games like Ridge Racer, Star Wars Battlefront and GTA LCS. The Origami would also have these. Except their whole, unchanged versions.

yea i guess your right, while the DS has a touch pad ( and other stuff i cant think of now) the PSP has movies, go online and surf the web, Sony is the more, super sized try to hard system. if what microsoft has in store is true, most likely microsoft will have all that, plus more, internet (of coarse) but im guessing that there's going to be a harddrive instead of memory cards.

Microsoft definitely has the advantage of seeing what the pros and cons of the DS and PSP (and Blackberries, for that matter). Now they can whip up what they think the best package will be.

You said it Jonas....Now, if only i could get my significant other to buy into the whole idea.....That's the master plan.......I guess how much they would charge for it would be another factor....If it costs more than the 360, i'll have to say "no way" for now....
