The DS goes online next week. Mario Kart DS also comes out on Tues. Tony Hawk, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Animal Crossing are all the games confirmed to support online play. Who's excited? :sword:

The DS is WiFi. The only thing you need to contect is a DS, a WiFi compatible game, and a wireless router. Playing online is completely free.
if you dont have a wireless router, Nintendo is going to be selling a USB device that sends your wireless signal to your DS.
it isnt as fancy as Xbox Live though, but still pretty advanced for a Handheld.

Intrigued
I have not yet indulged in the DS. The Online/Wi-fi looks mighty shiny though and definately has me intrigued and the foot almost out the door to buy ine.
