I bit the bullet yesterday and purchased a Rockstar game. I'm not a fan of the GTA series, not because I object to the content, which I do, but because parents let their kids play it.
But for some strange reason, I couldn't pass up reliving my youth as a street-wise punk with a shaved head and freckles.
I've only played the game for an hour and change, but so far, I've found that fighting is best left as a last resort. The game relies more heavily on social interaction as a strategy than it does on brawling.
The controls feel a little clunky, as if I was lagging on a network, especially when I'm turning a corner in the school's main building, but so far, that's not detracting from the game.
I can already see that the annoying classes are going to get in the way. Right now I'm doing them all, but if I pass all my classes and then still have to go, that will suck. I hope that's not the case. Anybody know?
