You can want to force the public one way but from the way the world goes you can't force anything on anyone. Now a change may be some what smooth or it may not be. But look at it like this if every company backs Blu-Ray but the public is really accepting of HD-DVD who loses in that battle. Because now those companies have to hurry to catch up and back what the comsumer wants. Also the one guy said there should be a dual player. NOW THAT WILL work out much better. If in a year some company comes out with this then we may strike gold till then chose your side wisely.
