I would actually say that videogames are more and more accepted as a pastime for all ages. Just think that in the 90s, games were still thought as kids only market and now the biggest titles are all marketed towards adults.

GTA5, I think. To be honest, I'm not sure where I can see the hours clocked in on my PS3.

I actually didn't care much for the Stanley Parable. I know it was supposed to be an experimrntal game but I felt like theres not enough meat to the game. You get thru all the paths in maybe hour and a half and a lot of that is repetition.. :(

Actually, you would be wrong on that. The multiplayer scene for fighting games is usually better on PC, and especially for MKX. Multiplayer on consoles for MKX ranges from complete wasteland to a few people here and there. I've seen a person run matchmaking on both consoles at once and still...

Only on emulators. Didn't know anyone with a working unit. Can't say I was a massive fan tho, even thiugh I was raised on oldschool stuff.

I don't even think ps3 has any mmos. Ff15, maybe. There is some turn based ps3 games though, yeah. Fairy Fencer F and Valkyria Chronicles come to mind.

I love watching speedruns. I even speedran a few games myself. Never got an amazing time, but it was still fun. I'm looking forward to SGDQ already :)

I used to love the Tony Hawk series, up until Underground 2. I feel like it just went downhill after that with each title. It was a ton of fun before that, though :)

Emulation devices are honestly all hit or miss and with the price tag that comes attached to them, I can't really justify recommending them over desktop pc...

Yeah I have no idea why would people actually want that. Correct me if I'm erong, but there's really no reason to split the computing between two variously powerful cards, is there? I can't see this making a difference of more than 2fps or so...

I realize that I'm in the minority here, but I never liked SM64. I don't know why, but it never clicked with me. Maybe it's because I grew up on the PSX and the 3D platformers there were already figured out thanks to SM64 paving the way.

I actually prefer the 16bit era games tobl the 8bit. While I did grew up on NES games, a lot of them don't really pass the test of time. The later games are much more futureproof I feel.

What about Tales of Maj'Eyal? It's a roguelike and the standard version is free. Apparently it's one of the best roguelikes too.
