Earn Xbox Achievements on Android Phones with Microsoft’s Wordament

Starting today, Microsoft released Wordament on Android devices via the Google Play store. This free downloadable game is a port from the popular WP7 and WP8 version.

Like a word search, the player swipes fingers on a grid of letters to make as many words within a specific time limit.  The cool part is, you are constantly playing against all other users that are also playing via a leaderboard summary at the end of the match.

The best part about are Xbox Live Achievements that tie directly into your Gamerscore.  Within just a couple of matches, I was able to unlock most of the game’s 50 Achievement points.  And even without Achievement Points, Wordament is still a great game.  Pretty cool.  Check it out.

Kinectimals is also available on Android devices but is a paid download.
